Nitpickers are red birds found in Ice Climber. They always appear on the highest visible level and fly between levels, but will generally remain on the top two visible levels. Touching them will cause to lose a life, but they can be defeated with the hammer. Defeating them is worth 800 points.
Nitpickers also appear in the game Donkey Kong Jr., where they are enemies aswell.

- They are one of 4 flying enemies featured in the Ice Climber series, the others being the Condor, the Bees and the Butterflies. The Butterflies and the Bees are both exclusive to the Vs. Ice Climber arcade game.
