The game still has multiplayer features via local play or on the internet with friends. You can play as the Ice Climbers in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!

On July 10, 2019 Nintendo announced a new version of the Nintendo Switch called the Nintendo Switch Lite. It is set to release on September 20, 2019, alongside the launch of The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening (A remake of the Gameboy game under the same name).
