'''Ice Climber''' is a game for the [[Nintendo Entertainment System]]. The goal of the game is to get the [[Ice Climbers]] up to the peak of the mountain where the [[Condor]] is. Along the way, the player must jump on blocks and clouds while avoiding [[Topi]], [[Nitpicker]]s, and [[Polar Bear]]s. There are also [[Vegetable]]s to collected during [[Bonus stage|bonus stages]], awarding bonus points. The main characters are [[Popo]], the boy in the blue parka, and [[Nana]], the girl in the pink parka. There is also a multiplayer mode which features a head to head competition between Popo and Nana to see who can reach the top first. They can cooperate on the way up, but for the bonus it is a one-on-one competition.

The game has been released in numerous forms including a card set for the [[Ice Climber-e|e-Reader]], a port in the [[Classic NES Series: Ice Climber|Classic NES Series]], an easter egg in ''Animal Crossing, ''and a 2-player arcade game called [[VS Ice Climber]]. It is also available on the Wii's, 3DS’s and Wii U’s Virtual Console and [[Nintendo Switch]]'s Online service.

The game was also released on [[NEC PC-8801]].

The speed running World Record for ''Ice Climber'' for the Nintendo Entertainment System is held by Peter Gustavsson with the time of 14:19.73.
